Lawrence W. Long
Lawrence W. Long (Trey) is from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, where he was born and raised. After graduating from high school in 2013, Trey went to the University of South Carolina as a Vocal Performance major. After two years of college, he switched his major to Broadcast Journalism, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications.
After graduating, Trey attended law school at the Charleston School of Law in Charleston, South Carolina. While there he gained experience working for Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services and the Charleston County Public Defender’s Office. Trey sat for and passed the South Carolina Bar in February 2021 and has been barred in the state of South Carolina since May 2021. Trey hopes to remain in South Carolina long-term and to have a positive impact on the state and local communities in the field of criminal law.
